Job summary

Westfields Hospital, part of HealthPartners, is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support the Food and Nutrition Services team. Responsibilities include meal preparation, distribution, sanitation, and assisting with patient and catering duties across shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications include High School/GED enrollment, ability to follow instructions in English, and physical ability to stand, walk, and lift.

Qualifications

• High School/GED enrollment or completion.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, assembly, and delivery of patient meals according to dietary guidelines and requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning work areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and storage spaces according to food safety standards.
• Safely use and monitor cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Cross-train for a minimum of two positions in the Dietary Department.
• Prepare tables for catering events according to requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
