Job summary

The Dietary Aide/Cook at Mid-Valley Hospital is responsible for preparing meals for patients and cafeteria, ensuring dietetic needs are met while adhering to state guidelines and the union contract. Qualifications

• Cooking and OR Food Preperation experience is helpful.
• Certifications: Okanogan County Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Assembles supplies and equipment at the start of each shift.
• Prepares meats, poultry, vegetables and soups for patients and cafeteria.
• Keeps work area, equipment and utensils clean.
• Sets patient trays according to protocol.
• Greets patients, visitors, physicians and staff professionally.
• Complies with hospital policies and successful teamwork.
