Tufts Medicine is seeking an entry-level dietary & food services aide to support meal preparation, tray delivery, and kitchen sanitation across its facilities in Lowell, MA. The role involves assisting with menu planning within diet orders and maintaining sanitary conditions in patient food service areas.

Hours are full-time (40 hours/week) with rotating weekends and holidays, shift from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Formación

• Food service experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Experience handling dietary orders and patient meals is a plus.
• Ability to follow schedules and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains and communicates accurate and updated diet order information through the system to ensure patients receive appropriate meals, nourishments and commercial enteral products in accordance with current diet order.
• Delivers trays to patients, picks up trays from patients.
• Follows all precautions on patient units by donning and doffing PPE.
• Stocks nursing unit pantries with nourishments and dietary supplies, utilizing first-in, first-out system.
• Ensures accurate tray assembly on patient tray line and proper food preparation and storage.
