Job summary

Universal Health Services’ TMC Bonham Hospital in Bonham, TX is seeking a dietary service worker to prepare patient meals, cafeteria items and guest meals while considering diet modifications and safety. You will help with setup of catered functions, cleaning, sanitation and department safety, and use computer systems to retrieve patient dietary information and print or adjust menus.

Qualifications include reading and numerical competency, at least six months of hospital food preparation

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• At least six months experience in quantity food preparation in a hospital setting preferred.
• Food Handler's permit required on hire.
• Must be able to read and compute basic math. Must be able to follow basic directions without constant supervision. Can operate and clean large pieces of food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dietary and food items for patients, cafeteria and guests with diet modifications.
• Set up and serve catered functions as assigned.
• Assist in department cleaning, sanitation and safety.
• Develop and prepare food per department guidelines.
• Use computer to retrieve patient dietary information and print/modify menus.
