Job summary

State Hospital South in Blackfoot, Idaho is seeking two full-time custodians to perform heavy cleaning in bedrooms, lobbies and restrooms. You will clean, sanitize, and polish fixtures, dust and wash surfaces, and manage cleaning supplies in accordance with procedures.

The position requires ability to lift heavy items, operate industrial cleaning equipment, and adhere to safety standards. Employment includes benefits and a background check, with telework not available.

Qualifications

• Perform duties associated with commercial cleaning, including operating industrial-type cleaning equipment.
• Clean restrooms, baths, locker rooms and similar facilities.
• Move heavy items such as tables, chairs and bleachers.
• Repair the equipment and devices you operate.

Responsibilities

• Performs heavy-duty cleaning in bedrooms, conference rooms, and lavatories.
• Cleans, sanitizes and polishes fixtures in baths and sinks.
• Dusts, washes, and sanitizes furniture, walls, and windows.
• Removes waste and debris from areas.
• Orders supplies for custodial closets and stocks with paper products.
