Tohono O'odham Nation is seeking a Cook for the Sells Hospital kitchen to prepare meals for regular and therapeutic diets in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, ensuring proper temperatures, coordinating with other cooks, and maintaining clean facilities. ServSafe certification is required within 6–12 months after hire. Flexible shifts and patient-focused service are emphasized.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Six months of experience in the foodservice industry or equivalent.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification within 6–12 months after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals for regular and therapeutic diets using standardized recipes.
• Ensure meals are ready on time and meet temperature standards.
• Plan and coordinate meal preparation with other cooks.
• Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing weekly food orders using FIFO.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and equipment.
