Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Experience: 3+ years previous experience in food preparation required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare select foods for patients, staff and visitors to high quality standards.
• Braise, sauté, broil, boil, stew, steam, bake and grill to proper times and temperatures.
• Record usage on production records to help ensure correct preparation and controlled costs.
• Assemble ingredients, portion, label and date for storage or transport.
• Maintain HACCP and production records.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitary procedures per health regulations.
