Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage month-end close, reconciliations, and budgeting activities. The role will oversee Medicare Cost Report workpapers, tax workpapers, and VHI filings while ensuring SOX compliance across the hospital’s finance function.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3+ years of accounting experience (hospital experience preferred) and a preference for MBA/MAcc/MHA or CPA.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Three years accounting experience required; hospital accounting preferred.
• One to two years supervising accounting staff preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review journal entries and monthly close processes.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and MOR reports.
• Oversee annual budget development.
• Oversee Medicare Cost Report workpapers with Corporate Reimbursement.
• Oversee annual tax workpapers and VHI filing.
• Maintain SOX compliance and internal controls.
