Job summary

Beloit Health System is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join Beloit Memorial Hospital’s busy team on the Acute Care Floor. CNAs will work alongside nurses to deliver direct patient care for Medical Surgical and Intermediate/Cardiac Stepdown patients.

Location: Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit, WI. Sign-On Bonus available; shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with schedules including various daily hours and 24–32 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Wisconsin.
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and document vital signs.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Provide comfort, dignity, and emotional support to patients.
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
• Support nursing staff with patient care activities.
• Document care provided according to hospital standards.
