Job summary

Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for hospital-based care. The role emphasizes safe medication use, order verification, dosing design, and drug information delivery for inpatients and outpatients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy is required.
Current Arizona pharmacist licensure or licensure obtained prior to start is required.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree is preferred.
Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency is preferred.

Responsibilities

Verify orders and ensure safe, effective medication use.
Assess drug product selection and dosage regimens; provide drug information and education.
Monitor drug therapy and participate in pharmacy and therapeutics processes; support procurement and dispensing for inpatient and outpatient areas.
Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care; participate in weekend and after-hours call as required.
