Job summary

Yakima Memorial Hospital, part of MultiCare, is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support adults with speech-language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders. The role splits time between our 238-bed acute-care hospital and the adult outpatient clinic, with a day shift, Monday through Friday schedule.

You will assess and report clinical observations, develop treatment plans with physicians, and collaborate with the care team to advance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold CCC-SLP or be completing CFY under CCC-SLP supervision per ASHA standards.
• WA licensure or interim permit to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, interpretation and reporting of clinical observations.
• Perform patient assessments with physicians and develop treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret videofluoroscopic swallow studies and FEES evaluations.
• Confer with physicians and other health care professionals.
