Job summary

Wheeling Hospital is seeking a Cleaning Attendant to maintain clean and orderly patient rooms, exam areas, and common spaces. You will perform a range of environmental services, including trash removal, restocking supplies, and bed making under established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and ensures that all assigned areas are clean and in good repair; report problems to supervisor.
• Cleans all assigned areas including patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, OR rooms, offices and equipment per procedures.
• Removes trash from all assigned areas.
• Replenishes paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations.
• Makes beds following cleaning procedures in patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms.
• Maintains assigned equipment in clean, working condition; reports problems.
• Moves equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc., as assigned.
• Follows all safety and sanitation regulations.
