Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our hospital-based Behavioral Health team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The role involves evaluating and treating mood disorders, delirium, suicidality, and behavioral issues across medical and surgical services, with a focus on integrated care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
• Fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison psychiatry welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric consultation for adult patients across the hospital.
• Evaluate and treat mood disorders, psychosis, anxiety, delirium and suicidality.
• Collaborate with medical/surgical teams and BIT; discharge planning and safety planning.
• Participate in a compensated call structure supporting hospital consult services.

Education

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
