Qualifications

• Five (5) years of hospital operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations in the hospital.
• Provide leadership in building a high performing team and organization that achieves both the mission and financial/operational objectives of KP.
• Provides strategic leadership in bringing together diverse constituencies for a shared vision for the medical center and service area.
• Develops and executes key strategies differentiating KP in service and clinical excellence.
• Promotes open, effective communication and sharing of information among KP employees, physician leadership and medical staff.
• Creates a culture which is decisive, action-oriented, flexible, and poised to seize opportunities to advance quality, service and performance.
• Establishes clearly defined goals and objectives and ensures follow through in a timely manner.
• Achieves/exceeds performance expectations in hospital operations.
• Manages human resources strategies to ensure quality results in recruitment, retention and development of key staff.
• Manages operating and capital budgets and makes sound resource decisions in line with regional priorities.

Education

Master degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field
