OhioHealth is a faith-driven health system committed to compassionate care. We seek a pastoral care professional to provide spiritual support to patients, families, and staff across the hospital, and to help develop an ecumenical pastoral program with on-site worship experiences.

The role emphasizes ethical awareness, collaboration with the care team, and flexible on-call coverage within a high-reliability culture.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of pastoral care and counseling skills.
• Two years ministry experience, at least one year in a hospital setting.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct patient care as requested for emergent and routine requests; assesses spiritual needs and documents responses.
• Participates in on-call rotation including overnight or weekend shifts.
• Provides religious/spiritual rituals and liaises with faith leaders and resources.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medical ethics and patient rights; acts as a primary contact for ethics concerns.
• Provides care across diverse settings including hospital, outpatient areas, and homes, focusing on safety and quality.
