Job summary

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to advocate for spiritual needs and participate in patient care conferences, including care during crises and end-of-life moments.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in theology or related field.
• Experience addressing pastoral and spiritual needs in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual support to patients, families, personnel and medical staff.
• Assess spiritual/religious/sacramental needs and provide follow-up.
• Document spiritual care in the patient’s medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in patient care conferences.
• Provide spiritual care during codes and crises and liaise with family and staff.
• Support the dying and assist families during bereavement.
