Job summary

The Seminary of the Southwest is seeking a part-time hybrid Hospital Chaplain to provide emotional support to patients, families, and staff, and to connect patients with community spiritual resources. The role also involves collaborating with medical personnel to address emotional needs and assisting ethics committees in difficult cases.

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, healthcare experience, and knowledge of multicultural religious rites.

Job description

This is a part-time hybrid Hospital Chaplain role. The Hospital Chaplain will provide emotional support to patients, families, and staff and obtain community spiritual resources. They will also collaborate with medical personnel to address patients’ emotional needs and support ethics committees in challenging situations.
