Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is recruiting for its CFO at Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA.

Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region with 190 licensed beds, cardiac services, STEMI center and a 24-hour emergency department, supported by a large medical staff. The CFO will maximize financial performance, supervise reporting, file federal/state and other required financial reports, and develop staff to achieve high performance.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of GAAP, Medicare and Medicaid regulations; knowledge of tax rules.
• Experience in hospital business office operations and financial statement preparation.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; 10+ years progressive financial experience; healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize hospital financial performance; analyze profitability of operations and contracts; act as change agent to reduce expenses.
• Participate in hospital financial reporting; supervise reports on financial position and operating income/loss.
• Prepare federal, state, and other required financial reports in a timely manner.
• Develop employees; coach and build commitment to achieve high performance.
