Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate dishwasher to join the Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital culinary team. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean kitchen, dining room, and storeroom; handling deliveries; and supporting daily operations in a hospital cafeteria.

Apart from strong teamwork, the position requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and adherence to health and safety policies. Evening shifts and part-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
