Role Summary

The Representative is responsible for launching new products, managing and growing business relationships, understanding formulary access, and promoting products within assigned accounts. The focus includes contract compliance, pipeline development, portfolio initiatives, and upselling. The role involves developing relationships with customers, owning hospital and alternate site classes of trade, and leveraging market and product knowledge to drive sales and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement virtual and in-person engagement strategies tailored to each customer, including effective call plans.
  • Build rapport and maintain relationships with customers, utilizing digital tools and analytics for insights and planning.
  • Engage key customers compliantly, providing education and insights to meet their needs.
  • Deliver targeted messaging using approved materials to drive product demand and close sales.
  • Educate providers on product value propositions, utilizing approved messaging to increase market share.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and engage customers across multiple formats, applying a total hospital approach.
  • Strategically deploy Pfizer resources to support customer needs, including demos, in-services, and contracts.
  • Support patient access by providing relevant product information and managing contractual details.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
  • Utilize tools and insights for effective customer engagement and territory management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience, or an associate’s degree with 8+ years, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in hospital sales or related fields, with strong communication and team skills.
  • Valid US driver’s license and a compliant driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, with knowledge of hospital sales dynamics, GPO contracts, and procurement.
  • Ability to analyze data for pre-call planning and customer insights.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, strategic account management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with adaptability to change.
Additional Details

Field activity may require up to 25% travel. Compensation ranges from $101,500 to $245,400, plus incentives. Benefits include 401(k), health coverage, paid leave, and more. Relocation assistance may be available.
