Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of industrial or health care boiler operation and maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant log and gauge readings, fuel consumption, and related data.
• Test boiler water and manage blowdown and chemical treatment.
• Operate and prepare boilers, pumps, generators, and air compressors.
• Perform minor repairs (gaskets, joints, pumps, valves).
• Respond to fire alarms and restart essential equipment after outages.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
