The State of Hawaii is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Occupational Therapy Unit at Hawaii State Hospital. You will assist an Occupational Therapist in evaluating and treating patients and help plan, coordinate, and implement ongoing therapeutic programs.

The position may require working shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, and is intended for candidates who are licensed and experienced in hospital-based therapy services.

Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii OTA license required.
• At least 1 year of hospital-based OT experience.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques and document progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist OT in patient evaluation and treatment.
• Plan and coordinate ongoing occupational therapy programs.
