Job summary

The Bellevue Hospital, part of Firelands Health, is seeking an HVAC Building Automation Tech for a full-time day shift at Bellevue Hospital in Bellevue, OH. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining BAS controls, HVAC equipment, boilers, and related building systems.

Ideal candidates have at least 7 years of BAS experience and strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing troubleshooting, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of BAS controls experience.
• Extensive HVAC systems knowledge required.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and plumbing troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions; maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and troubleshoots HVAC equipment including VFDs, pumps, heat exchangers, and chillers.
• Repairs boilers, steam or hot water heating systems.
• Assist electrician with electrical troubleshooting; maintain documentation.
• Perform repairs of plumbing problems and assist other maintenance staff.
• Handle supplies and materials; ensure proper paperwork and records are kept.
• Inspect and repair building lighting; replace bulbs and fixtures; manage cords and outlets.
• Perform minor repairs on vehicles and snow equipment; assist with snow removal as needed.
