Position Summary
At Stony Brook Medicine, our Hospital Attendants are valuable members of our team, who provide routine custodial services to all patient/resident care and public areas throughout the hospital. Our Hospital Attendants in the operating room turnover to prepare room for following surgical cases and cleans Operating Room environment. Qualified candidates should demonstrate excellent intrapersonal skills and time management skills. They should have attention to detail and be able to work with all levels of the organization.
Duties of a Hospital Attendant in the OR may include the following but are not limited to:

Required: Must be able to speak English and the ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
Preferred: Previous experience working in a hospital setting and/or in the hospital industry. Possess excellent intrapersonal skills, time management skills, have attention to detail and be able to work with all levels of the organization.
