Job summary

PIH Health is seeking Hospital Assistants to transport Emergency Room and inpatient patients safely to and from exams. You will support Nursing and Ancillary areas with patient transport needs and assist with other patient care duties within your scope of practice.

This role requires basic communication skills, independence, and willingness to work all shifts, with BCLS CPR certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior acute hospital experience is preferred.

Under the direction and supervision of the Manager of House Supervision, the Hospital Assistants will transport Emergency Room and inpatients safely to and from their exams. The Hospital Assistant will also help all Nursing and Ancillary areas with patient transport needs, as well as assist with other patient care duties within their scope of practice.
