Qualifications

• American Sign Language experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience interpreting for children.
• Current national professional certification from RID or BEI.
• Current Arizona Commission license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret patient care needs between patients and health care team.
• Provide communication recommendations to the health care team.
• Assist with communication needs for deaf and hard of hearing patients.

Skills

Fluency in American Sign Language to English

Fluency in spoken Spanish
