Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing experience required.
• Experience with hospital billing (UB-04) and payer rules preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with internal departments and payers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit UB-04 hospital facility claims using electronic and paper methods.
• Follow up on outstanding balances to secure reimbursement.
• Research, analyze, and resolve denials with the Denial and Payment Variance teams.
• Collaborate with coding, revenue integrity, patient access, and clinical departments to resolve discrepancies.
