Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group seeks a Hospital Liaison to support Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center and Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Virginia. The role focuses on public relations, marketing, and revenue generation for the communities, with daily client referrals and market penetration.

You will build relationships, ensure excellent customer service, and help achieve census targets. Requires high school diploma, two years college in healthcare/marketing, and two years in healthcare;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum two years college education in healthcare administration, business management, marketing, or public relations related to skilled nursing/long term care.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
• Working clinical knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry trends with proven sales/marketing success in post-acute industry.

Responsibilities

• Hospital Liaison manages public relations, marketing, and revenue generation for the Communities.
• Identifies, assesses, and manages customer referrals for assigned hospital accounts; ensures market penetration and positive public image.
• Liaison works daily with hospital accounts and maintains excellent customer service to hit census targets and growth.

Position Summary

The Hospital Liaison is primarily responsible performing job duties that relate to the management or general business operations of the Communities, such as public relations, marketing, and revenue generation for the Communities. In addition, the Liaison is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing customer referrals for their assigned hospital account(s) as well as ensuring appropriate market penetration and a positive public image. The Liaison will primarily work in assigned hospital account(s) daily and regularly be engaged with the Communities the Liaison supports while maintaining excellent customer service to achieve the Community’s business objectives. The success of the Liaison will be measured by referral volume, relationship development, census targets, and census trends.

Education/Qualification

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years college education in the field of healthcare administration, business management, and/or marketing or public relations related to skilled nursing/long term care.
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
• Candidate must have a working clinical knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry trends and have demonstrated success with strong sale and marketing skills in post-acute industry.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing facility marketing and sales preferred.
