Job summary

Our Mom’s Restaurant in Hammond, LA is seeking friendly, dependable Servers to provide attentive hospitality, accurate service, and a positive guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

BOTH part-time and full-time schedules are available. Applicants must be able to work days, nights, and weekends, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds. Compensation includes a $2.13/hour base plus tips, with servers keeping their tips and a bartender tip-out.

Qualifications

• Previous full-service restaurant experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to maintain composure during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a welcoming, professional attitude.
• Explain menu items, specials, and beverages accurately.
• Take orders and enter them into the POS correctly.
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and verify accuracy.
• Pre-bus and maintain a clean, organized section.
• Present checks and process payments accurately.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
• Communicate clearly with team members and managers.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
