Moldaw Residences in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a hospitality-focused Dishwasher to join our Culinary Services team. This position emphasizes teamwork, cleanliness, and delivering a positive dining experience for our residents.

Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 1:00pm-9:30PM. Pay: $20-$21 per hour. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dishwasher or kitchen utility experience is preferred, but not required—we can train motivated individuals.
• Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one) as required by California regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Fast-paced environment with high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, dish room, and food preparation areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Set up and break down the dishwashing station and assist with general kitchen cleaning, including floors, equipment, and work surfaces.
• Assist with food preparation, stocking supplies, and storing food and non-food items as needed.
• Support the dining team by setting and clearing tables and ensuring meal service runs smoothly.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety procedures.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to residents, guests, and fellow team members while contributing to a positive dining experience.
