Job summary

Advocate Health in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Manager to lead the hospital's volunteer program. You will conduct interviews and orientations, coordinate recruitment, screening, supervision and recognition, and ensure volunteers are trained for their assigned areas.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of volunteer management experience, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a pay range of $22.90–$34.35 per hour and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or a minimum of three years volunteer management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the volunteer program and conduct interviews and orientation for all volunteers.
• Coordinate recruitment, screening, supervision and recognition of volunteers.
• Coordinate area-specific training for volunteers to operate in assigned roles.
• Create and manage schedules for all volunteers and secure substitutes as needed.
• Maintain volunteer records (hours, files, TB tests, recognitions, health information, safety and training).
• Evaluate the program and set goals and performance objectives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance patient experience through volunteer initiatives.
