Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care in Frederick, MD and surrounding areas. You will practice on the road with a supportive team, focusing on families, dignity, and peaceful goodbyes.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
Weekends on Your Terms; you choose 4 weekend days per month to fit your life.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
Practice veterinary medicine independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
Support grieving families with dignity and peace during difficult moments.

Here, you won't be watching the clock or rushing from room to room. You'll be sitting on living room floors, answering hard questions with kindness, and helping families say goodbye with dignity and peace. It's quiet, meaningful work, and the families you serve will remember you for the rest of their lives.

You will practice independently on the road, but you'll never be on your own. Our team is built on the belief that the people who care for grieving families need care too, so we invest in your training, your growth, and your well-being from day one.

4-Day Full-Time: Guaranteed Salary, Plus Generous Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
2 & 3-Day Full-Time & Self Managed Part-Time Schedules: Prorated Compensation Based on Your Schedule including Self Managed Scheduling Options Available called DVM Flex-Scheduling

Guaranteed compensation ranges from $65,000 to $150,000, depending on your schedule, which can range from two days per week up to full time.
