Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services across Miami and surrounding areas. Work life on the road, not in a clinic, with time to listen to families and support them through difficult moments.

Choose from 2–5 day schedules, including self-managed options, with a guaranteed base salary and quarterly bonuses, plus comprehensive benefits and ongoing mentorship to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Weekends on your terms; weekend scheduling flexibility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Background check and license verification prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pets and families.
• Practice independently on the road with support from the Heartstrings team.
• Communicate with empathy to guide families through end-of-life decisions.
• Participate in onboarding and ongoing mentorship within the team.
