Job summary

Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care Services is seeking a compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide supportive care to hospice patients in Fremont, Ohio. Qualifications

• Current Ohio STNA certification.
• Previous healthcare, hospice, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Compassionate and respectful patient care approach.
• Dependable and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following the plan of care.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance per the plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and caregivers.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospice care procedures.
