Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a field-based Hospice Referral Sales professional to cultivate connections with referral sources in Kissimmee and surrounding areas. This role covers Seminole and adjacent territories, with a focus on consultative sales and proactive outreach.

The position requires 2+ years in marketing, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and a valid driver's license. Healthcare/hospice experience is a plus. Benefits and relocation support are offered where applicable.

Job Description:

Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Friday *occasional evenings and weekends.

Location: Field Based Position - Covering Kissimmee and surrounding area

Location 2: Field Based Position- Covering Seminole and surrounding area

• Cultivate connections with individuals and organizations that influence referrals to hospice care.

• Consultative Sales: Develops a clear understanding of the referral source’s needs and provides tailored solutions, utilizing appropriate marketing collateral or educational materials.
• Data Management: Accurately document daily sales calls, referral source contact information, territory updates, and communications in electronic database systems; submit required reports to management.
• Budget- Submit expense reports timely and in accordance with company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements.
• Knowledge (intermediate to advanced) of the sales process.
• Knowledge of intermediate to advanced application of Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as internet software.
• Knowledge of patient database system.
• Knowledge of telephone protocol.

Education:

• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, healthcare, or related field Preferred

Work Experience:

• 2+ years marketing experience [Required]
• Healthcare and/or hospice experience [Preferred]
