Job summary

Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care, part of Cadre Family Companies, seeks a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate care in patients' homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document care plans, and support families through the hospice journey while upholding the highest standards of dignity and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
  • Preferred hospice, palliative care, home health, oncology, or case management experience.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR/EMR) documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality bedside care to patients and their families.
  • Deliver compassionate care in patients' homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Manage patient symptoms with clinical expertise and empathy.
  • Support patients and families throughout their hospice journey.
  • Educate on disease progression, end-of-life care, self-care techniques, and nutrition.
  • Help patients and families understand their care and what to expect throughout the hospice journey.
  • Provide compassionate support while honoring each patient's needs and wishes.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other members of the care team to support patient needs.
  • Help ensure patients receive coordinated, compassionate hospice care.
  • Accurately document assessments, progress notes, care plans, and physician orders.
  • Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
  • Communicate patient needs and changes in condition appropriately with the care team.

About the Role

As a Hospice Registered Nurse , you'll be an essential part of our care team, providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families in the comfort of their homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. You'll use your clinical expertise, compassion, and understanding of the hospice philosophy to help patients receive the comfort and support they deserve.

What You'll Do
