Join to apply for the Hospice RN (Part Time) role at Providence

This part-time position involves working 12-hour night shifts and traveling to see patients in the Portland Metro and Clark County (Washington) areas.

The Hospice Nurse, under physician direction, completes medical requirements while coordinating a whole-person plan of care. The role is accountable for delivering both direct and indirect quality care to patients of all ages, tailored to their individual needs and following the nursing process and Nurse Practice Act. The position emphasizes professional development, collaboration with the healthcare team, and adherence to confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
  • Washington Registered Nurse license within 2 months of hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • At least 2 years of medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting, or a combination of medical/surgical, long-term care, home health, or hospice experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical record software.
