Job summary

Liberty Hospice is seeking an experienced Regional Hospice RN - On Call to support patients and families in Dunn, North Carolina. The role requires on-call coverage Monday to Thursday, 5pm–8am, with coordination among the patient, family, physician and Hospice team to deliver compassionate end-of-life care.

Responsibilities include applying nursing theories, documenting care per reimbursement guidelines, and participating in IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience and at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the framework, function, and organization of a home health and hospice care program and the nurse’s role as a member of the patient care team.
• 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• CPR certification.
• Accept travel based on agency need as well as weekend/evening and holiday call assignments.

• Current RN licensure in state of practice, successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing with two years of clinical nursing experience and at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the framework, function, and organization of a home health and hospice care program and the nurse’s role as a member of the patient care team.
• Working knowledge of the principles and practice of nursing according to nursing practice act, agencies policies and procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
• 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• CPR certification.
• Accept travel based on agency need as well as weekend/evening and holiday call assignments.
