Job summary
Hospice of the North Coast in California seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (NOC-12:00am-8:30am). The RN provides skilled and palliative care per the hospice plan, coordinates with the care team, and supports patients and families facing end-of-life transitions.
Qualifications include a CA RN license, BSN preferred, and a minimum of one year of recent nursing experience or NLN-accredited degree. Requires a valid driver’s license and compassionate demeanor.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current CA RN license; BSN preferred; hospice certification desired.
- Minimum of one-year nursing experience in the last 3 years or RN with NLN-accredited degree.
- Excellent communication and compassionate patient-care approach.
Responsibilities
- Follow hospice care plan and provide skilled and palliative care.
- Coordinate services with the interdisciplinary Hospice team.
- Review and follow the plan of care; perform prescribed treatments including pain management.
- Educate and support patients and caregivers throughout care.
