We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who is confident working independently, comfortable responding to urgent patient needs, and passionate about providing exceptional end-of-life care.
This is a full-time position with benefits, offering a 7-on / 7-off schedule, running Monday to Monday, so you'll enjoy a full week off between rotations!
And the best part? You're not doing it alone! Our organization has a dedicated team of on-call nurses, along with an Administrator On-Call available for additional guidance and support. We believe in teamwork and making sure our nurses have the resources they need to provide excellent patient care.
As our hospice census continues to grow throughout Utah County, we're looking for an RN who can provide skilled nursing support during overnight hours, respond to after-hours emergencies, and help ensure our patients and families feel supported whenever they need us.
If you enjoy providing meaningful one-on-one patient care and want to be part of a supportive hospice team, we'd love to meet you!
We believe that taking great care of our patients starts with taking great care of our nurses!
The Hospice Night On-Call RN provides skilled nursing care, telephone triage, and urgent patient support during designated after-hours shifts throughout Utah County.
This position is focused on responding to the immediate needs of hospice patients and families rather than managing an assigned patient caseload.
This is not a traditional RN Case Manager position.
The Night On-Call RN will respond to after-hours calls, assess patient needs, provide clinical guidance, perform emergency nursing visits when necessary, and may complete emergent hospice admissions.
You'll work independently in the field while having access to our on-call nursing team and Administrator On-Call for collaboration, assistance, and support.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate RN who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and confident during urgent situations.
We're growing, and we'd love for you to grow with us!
Hospice nursing is about being there when patients and families need us most.
As a Night On-Call RN, you'll play an essential role in providing comfort, reassurance, and skilled nursing support during some of life's most vulnerable moments.
We recognize the importance of having experienced, compassionate nurses available after hours, and we value the dedication and clinical expertise this position requires.
We also know that great hospice care takes a team. While this position offers independence and autonomy, you'll have the support of fellow on-call nurses, an Administrator On-Call, and a collaborative clinical team. We want our nurses to feel confident, appreciated, and supported in the work they do.
With a 7-on / 7-off schedule, full-time benefits, and a supportive team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while enjoying extended time off between rotations.
If you're a compassionate RN who thrives in an independent nursing role and wants to be part of a growing, supportive hospice organization, we'd love to hear from you!
