Qualifications

Overview

We are seeking an RN Executive Director to join our team! This role offers a meaningful opportunity to lead others and impact the lives of those under your care.

Executive Director Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned hospice location, ensuring smooth patient admissions, coordinating ancillary services, supervising staff and volunteers, and maintaining effective communication with leadership.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  1. Commitment to Excellence: Focus on quality care and service, incorporating continuous quality improvement principles, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  2. Human Resources Management: Promote positive communication, staff training, supervision, and evaluation, ensuring fair workload distribution and team performance.
  3. Office Operations: Organize tasks and resources to meet strategic goals, ensure accurate documentation, monitor patient care quality, and handle emergency situations.
  4. Financial Management: Collaborate on financial reviews, manage budgets, and monitor expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
About You
  • Education: Registered Nurse with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree in related fields preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience; at least two years in hospice/home care; three years of clinical patient care preferred; healthcare management experience preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid nursing license, CPR certification, current automobile insurance, and driver’s license.
  • Skills & Tools: Proficiency with computers, fax, copier, and cell phone; reliable transportation required.
