Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks an RN Educator to provide clinical professional development for staff, based in Mendota Heights, MN. This in-office role requires MN RN licensure and CHPN eligibility. The educator will train on EMR and coordinate onboarding and ongoing education with nursing leadership.

The position emphasizes delivering evidence‑based education, maintaining hospice competencies, and collaborating with the education team to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least two (2) years of hospice experience.
• Current RN licensure in Minnesota and ability to obtain additional state licensures as required.
• CHPN certified or ability to obtain.
• Able to organize educational programs and orchestrate delivery.
• Capable of learning and training staff in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational activities align with St. Croix Hospice mission, vision, values, and strategic plan.
• Adhere to CHAP education standards for all employees.
• Provide training for clinical staff on EMR on-line training program.
• Serve as a resource for clinical staff on EMR and education materials.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure orientation and ongoing staff development.
• Plan, deliver, evaluate, and audit educational programs for the clinical team.
• Identify education needs and opportunities to meet position requirements.
• Create a positive learning environment and support onboarding and onboarding feedback.
