Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Director of Clinical Services (Registered Nurse) to supervise patient and family care per the care plan and to lead the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) with scheduling, mentoring and performance oversight. You will coordinate with the Medical Director and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining high-quality care.

The role emphasizes leadership, experience in healthcare, and RN licensure in the state of employment, with preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with minimum of three years in healthcare required.
• Leadership or management experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; BSN a plus.
• Must have a valid nursing license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient and family care as specified by the plan of care, assessing appropriateness, continuity, service and quality of care.
• Lead and manage Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) scheduling, productivity, mentoring, 1x1s and timekeeping.
• Oversee the consultative process between the Medical Director and IDT members.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory rules and regulations.
• Attend and/or lead Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings.
• Process EMR documentation workflow as needed.
