Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice is seeking a skilled Hospice Registered Nurse to manage comprehensive patient care in a community setting. The RN will perform nursing processes, document thoroughly, and coordinate Circle of Life services for patients and families in Northwest Arkansas.

Responsibilities include family education on hospice principles, ongoing care plan updates, and collaboration with IDT members. Weekend coverage is required; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential

Qualifications

Current unrestricted AR RN license.
BLS certification required.
Strong assessment skills with critical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Assumes primary responsibility for assigned patients and performs all phases of the nursing process.
Communicates with attending physicians, staff, and other agencies to optimize care and resource use.
Educates patients and caregivers about hospice philosophy, disease progression, and care plans.
Documents all patient information according to COL policies and procedures.
Participates in IDT meetings and updates the plan of care at least every 60 days.
Supervises CNA services and revises CNA care plans as needed.
Promotes confidentiality and adheres to all regulatory requirements.
