Job summary

Caring Hospice Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide on-the-road hospice care in New York. You will assess patients, manage pain and symptoms, and coordinate with physicians to adjust treatments.

The role requires NY RN licensure, hospice experience preferred, strong documentation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits and support for caregivers.

Qualifications

• Licensed NY RN with hospice experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid requirements.
• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical and psychological status of the patient.
• Reviews past and present medical history of the patient.
• Provides emotional support to caregivers.
• Responds to calls promptly and prioritizes patient needs.
• Able to work independently and make critical decisions.
• Documents hospice patient's condition and nursing interventions on the clinical record.
