Job summary

Serenity Hospice PA in Lancaster, PA is hiring a full-time RN to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to hospice patients and families, with a predictable Friday–Sunday schedule.

You will work with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life, while enjoying four days off each week and a supportive work environment.

Active PA RN license and hospice or home health experience preferred; drive to patients' homes required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active PA RN license.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and plan care.
• Create and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Manage symptoms and comfort-focused care.
• Educate patients/families about medications and hospice services.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Monday – Thursday: OFF

YOUR ROLE

As an RN with Serenity Hospice PA, you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting patients and their families during an incredibly important time in their lives.

You’ll work closely with physicians, caregivers, and our interdisciplinary team to ensure patients receive exceptional care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Provide symptom management and comfort-focused care

• Educate patients and families regarding medications, disease progression, and hospice services

• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Provide emotional support to patients and their loved ones

• Advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

An RN who is compassionate, dependable, organized, committed, and a team player with the following:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license
• Hospice or home health experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
