Amergis is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Tucson, AZ. The role provides care, comfort and support to terminally ill patients, with accountability for delivering hospice patient care across settings.

The RN will exercise clinical judgment, critical thinking and coordination of patient care under supervision. Minimum requirements include a current RN license in the practicing state, 1 year of experience preferred, CHPN preferred, CPR if applicable, and standard

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience preferred.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) credential preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Registered Nurse - Hospice is responsible for providingcare, comfort and support to terminally ill patients. The Registered Nurse - Hospice assumes theresponsibility and accountability for the delivery of hospice patient care invarious settings. The Registered Nursedemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner with supervision. TheRegistered Nurse will also demonstrate critical thinking and performanceability in the coordination of patient care.Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountablein managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

Minimum Requirements:
