As a Hospice Registered Nurse On Call PRN, conduct skilled nursing visits in patients' homes and facilities, assessing symptoms, pain, and comfort needs
Develop, implement, and revise the plan of care with the interdisciplinary group and attending physician
Administer medications and provide expert pain and symptom management for patients at end of life
Educate and emotionally support patients and families throughout the hospice journey
Document every visit accurately and on time in the electronic health record, meeting visit and regulatory requirements
Paid per visit; (High Rates!) - rate based on experience
PRN / per diem — flexible, as-needed scheduling across your New Mexico territory
Field-based role serving patients in home and facility settings
The ideal Hospice Registered Nurse On Call PRN holds an active New Mexico RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted)
Current AHA BLS/CPR certification
One year of RN experience; hospice or home care experience strongly preferred
Valid NM driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle for patient visits
Strong assessment, end-of-life symptom management, and EHR documentation skills
