Job summary

LilyCare Hospice is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse On Call PRN to provide compassionate, in-home and facility-based care across the New Mexico territory. This flexible PRN role offers premium per-visit pay and a true 1:1 patient focus.

You will conduct skilled nursing visits, assess symptoms and comfort, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality end-of-life care in patients' homes.

Qualifications

Active New Mexico RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted).
Current BLS/CPR certification.
At least 1 year of RN experience; hospice or home care preferred.
Valid NM driver's license and insured vehicle.
Strong assessment and end-of-life symptom management and EHR documentation skills.

Responsibilities

As a Hospice Registered Nurse On Call PRN, conduct skilled nursing visits in patients' homes and facilities, assessing symptoms, pain, and comfort needs.
Develop, implement, and revise the plan of care with the interdisciplinary group and attending physician.
Administer medications and provide expert pain and symptom management for patients at end of life.
Educate and emotionally support patients and families throughout the hospice journey.
Document every visit accurately and on time in the electronic health record, meeting visit and regulatory requirements.
