Job summary

Favoured Hospice LLC is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients and families at home and in facilities. You will deliver skilled nursing care, manage symptoms, and educate families.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • 1–2 years of nursing experience (hospice or palliative care preferred).
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and empathy.
  • Comfort working independently in home and facility environments.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or inpatient settings.
  • Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and adjust treatments as needs change.
  • Administer medications, manage pain and symptoms, and educate families on care techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their loved ones, helping them navigate end-of-life decisions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
